PART 2 Test of Competence (OSCE)

About The Test of Competence​​

Part 2 is a nursing or midwifery Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) . The OSCE can only be sat after successfully passing part 1 and only the NMC can authorise a candidate to take part 2 (the OSCE).

In order to be eligible for Part 2 (OSCE) candidates must have past Part 1 and have submitted their documents to the NMC. The NMC are responsible for authorising all candidates. Once the University of Northampton is notified of a candidate’s eligibility the candidate will be sent a link for payment.

The NMC will notify you of your eligibility to take Part 2 (OSCE). In order to qualify for Part 2 you must have successfully completed Part 1 and have provided the NMC with the correct documents.
